“Monteur’’ is a Japanese dessert manufacturer founded in 1954. It all began as a small confectionery factory nestled in an old town. Since starting the production of chilled desserts in 1991, we have experienced remarkable growth, establishing ourselves as one of Japan’s leading dessert manufacturers. Today, our products decorate the shelves of supermarkets and convenience stores across Japan.

With a sincere aspiration to bring joy and smiles to people worldwide, we have extended our presence beyond borders, starting with Taiwan in October 2011. Currently, our products are enjoyed in 14 countries across the globe.

In the winter of 2019, we made our debut in the United States, initially offering our products exclusively in Japanese supermarkets located in California and Hawaii. However, starting from 2022, we expanded our operations by manufacturing and exporting American-exclusive delights, including roll cakes and waffles. This expansion allowed us to commence full-scale sales within the United States. As of 2023, our delectable desserts have gained widespread availability in supermarkets and restaurants across 11 states.

All plants have acquired JFS-C, a food
safety management system
originating in Japan.

All of our plants have acquired JFS-C certification, which is a food safety management system originating in Japan and recognized internationally as a standard.

We have strengthened the HACCP system based on GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), a hygiene management method for manufacturing safe food. We have also built a system (FSM) that effectively utilizes GMP and HACCP.

By actively utilizing improvement proposals from all factory staff members, we collectively prioritize food safety. This entails diligently implementing corrective actions, conducting internal audits, and undergoing third-party reviews. Our unwavering commitment to enhancing food safety remains steadfast as we strive for continuous improvement.
